They’re new, and OCs are always welcome with them! :)

Jimmy Peakes had always been an innocent boy. It hadn’t seemed to fade much. In some areas he had a better outlook on things, in others he was completely clueless. Jimmy is a muggleborn trying to make ends meet in the wizarding world. With a job six days a week, twelve hours a day he doesn’t have much time for fun. He aspires to someday be a world traveling photographer but by the way his life is going, that doesn’t seem to be in his cards. Since the war, Jimmy has barely seen his friends and just wants to get out of the rut he’s in. Most people changed a lot, not Jimmy. He worked in a damn ice cream shop and served five year olds all day. His life wasn’t desirable. And his ambition was running out. In a way, Jimmy hated his life. He wanted to live like a normal nineteen year old and spend time with his friends, work on the weekends, and maybe even get a girlfriend. But, if he wanted to do what he wanted to since he was a young child, he had to keep working. Jimmy would much rather have a job at the prophet and go to events to take his pictures. Maybe even take the pictures for the models at Witch Weekly. He couldn’t see that happening anytime soon. So, for now, Jimmy will just live his normal everyday life and hope every day that a miracle comes and lands him some money for a decent place to live and food to eat every day.

After the war, Cormac McLaggen hit the gym hard, harder than he had ever done whilst at school. He had been absolutely determined to build up a successful career as a Quidditch player. Now, five years on, Cormac is Captain and Keeper for the Falmouth Falcons. Even with all the offers of modelling contracts, near enough every witch in the country desiring him and having one of the most surprising and successful careers known in the Quidditch world, Cormac still feels as though he’s missing something. As he’s not the brightest spark from the wand, he’s not sure what, or how to find what he’s missing, but Cormac knows it’s out there somewhere.

Though it’s been five years since the Second Wizarding War, Hermione still harbours some psychological trauma over it. She still has the hairline scars on her left forearm that read mudblood, though to people that don’t know it’s there can hardly make it out. Her insomnia from school years has worsened and usually she’ll wake up to some night-terrors, though it has lessened considerably since time has past. She does occasionally still wake up in a cold sweat in the middle of the night- and on those nights she knows that it’s rather impossible to go back to sleep. She ends up working when this happens.
Hermione works for the Ministry, specifically with Department for the Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures. She has a feeling that this might not be her right calling, so is working to transfer over to the Department of Magical Law Enforcement. As part of the “Golden Trio”, Hermione is quite up there in society, though she doesn’t wish for the fame. She tries to keep herself out of the tabloids and lives almost humbly, really, even going as far as taking up a flat in Muggle London to keep herself out of the Daily Prophet. (Most of the journalists and photographers still wouldn’t dare to tread through there, thank goodness.) As for her relationships, Hermione is still very close with Harry, Ron, Ginny, Luna and Neville, along with all of her other friends and allies from Hogwarts. Though she doesn’t have much time for them, she does try and meet up once or twice a week to a luncheon or brunch over the weekend.
As for “others”- Hermione has figured that what’s happened has happened. Forgive but never forget was the motto that she was going with, and all she wants to do is stride into the future trying to become normal- something that she couldn’t have all through her Hogwarts years with Harry and Ron. Old grudges are hard to let go, but it won’t stop her from mending and making friendships, if the other party is up to it.
With Ronald Weasley in particular, after the end of Voldemort she chalked their impromptu kiss as just an adrenaline rush, very rushed and the fact that they were about to die had something to do with it. With that being said, she asked him to give it some time, to see if it works out or not. Currently she is not seeing anyone, more intent on working with her department than anything.
